ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE
The concept of forming an Egyptian Medical Society in UK was initiated early in 1985 following discussions between our four founding members: Drs. Magdy Omar, Fayez Botros, Yehia Soleiman, and Ahmad Mostafa.
Dr. Ahmad Mostafa, the prime motivator to establish an Egyptian Medical Society UK invited the late famous Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon Mr Basil Hillal, to become the first President of the Society; he occupied the office of the president for the society from 1985 1987. EMS also became a registered Charity later to serve the philathropic aims and purposes of its Trustees and Members.
Since its inception, the Society has undertaken hundreds of successful charity visit to Egypt, treating thousands of needy patients and offering training to local doctors in each of their fields.
Today the Society continues its charitable, educational and social work, with multiple annual social and scientific events. We look forward to your membership and joining us on our journey as we continue to grow.
